See my "Roma"

I found an interest in photography at age 10 and had my first (of many) darkrooms at age 12. I have mostly concentrated on Black and White photography with a short detour into color slides while in Viet Nam in the 60’s.

I continue to do photography because I love the process and in most instances the results! My camera of choice is a Linhof 4x5 Field Camera as well as a Nikon D2x Digital.

In 1988 I ventured into the area of Bronze Sculpture using the lost wax method to produce a few pieces. I now do wood turning to give me another creative outlet.I retired as a financial consultant in 2002 and keep busy with my photography, woodturning, skiing, fly fishing, reading, golf and travel.

ARTIST'S STATEMENT

"What I see is 'What you get' in my Photography! I attempt to capture the scene on the negative as I see it and add no embellishments in the darkroom. My goal is to produce pictures that are desirable to own, enjoyable to look at and long lasting.

Black and White photography has always been my first choice and even in the new area of Digital I think in terms of conversion to black and white.

I enjoy all aspects of the photographic process from “taking the picture, developing the film, printing the picture, matting and framing”.
