Debbie is an established, recognized, awarded artist represented in Colorado galleries and honored to be selected for juried local, state, and national exhibitions. She is a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society where she has received the Award of Excellence. Debbie was raised and educated in Minnesota with degrees in Chemistry, Biology and Botany from Macalester College and worked professionally as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) in Minnesota, Hawaii, Arizona and Colorado...all wonderful places to inspire a watercolorist! She is a volunteer Master Naturalist and Interprative Guide and enjoys family activites and travel with her husband...always taking painting supplies!

Debbie teaches watercolor classes, attends watermedia workshops locally and nationally, is a member of several art associations, supports community causes, and continues to love and share the creative process.
