My name is Diane Cowley and I have been active in pottery for over seven years. My interest in pottery peaked when my husband and I moved to Denver January, 2001. Since I was not teaching school at the time I started taking pottery classes and I was hooked. I studied under Christine Katzenberg in Denver for four years.

My pots are hand thrown on a pottery wheel and gas high fired. I get a lot of satisfaction in creating objects that other people will use and enjoy. My husband and I now reside in Fort Collins, CO and I am a member of the Art on Mountain Gallery, Green Otter Gallery and Northern Colorado Potters Guild.

Making mostly functional pottery gives me the most pleasure. I like to see my pieces have ecstatic beauty for everyday purposes.
