"Creativity is one of my food groups. I've dabbled in cooking, sewing, pottery, stained glass, oil painting and photography, but it is photography that has brought me the greatest satisfaction. There is something wonderful about being able to capture something beautiful before changing weather, light, animals, etc. change it forever.

My slogan: "Images frozen in time to be enjoyed at your leisure" says it all.

I love the beauty of nature and grew up surrounded by it in green Northern California. Discovering the Rockies has been an ongoing delight since moving here in 1971. The Northern Rockies have been as central theme for me, but images from Lake Powell, Europe, and Arizona have found their way into my portfolio as well.

My training has been informal except for training received from a good friend who is a master photographer here in Colorado.

I have been taking photographs all my life, but have been sharing them for less than three years. In that time I have been juried into the prestigious AANC National Show both years I have submitted my work. I have also won a first in photography in the AANC Colorful Colorado Show in '06 and took a third in the AANC Paint the Town Show in '05.
